After being inflated or having been slept on for couple of days, the air mattress may lose some of its initial firmness due to PVC's natural stretching. Plug inner pump into a grounded 120 volt AC electrical outlet. 2. Turn both control dials to 'INFLATE' , the pump will begin to inflate the air mattress. 3. After the air mattress is fully inflated, turn two control knobs to the 'OFF'. Make sure that both arrows point to the 'OFF' position to prevent air loss. 4.Test the firmness to your desired by either continuing to inflate the air mattress or turn the control dial to 'Deflate” to let some air out. 5. Unplug the power cord and store it in the power cord compartment. Deflate/Storage 1. Plug in the power cord and turn the control dial to 'Deflate”. 2. Allow the air mattress to completely deflate. Unplug the power cord and place it back into the storage compartment. 3. Lay mattress felt-side up and fold the mattress into thirds, roll up the mattress to release any remaining air
