The light source design is compatible with ESC Medicam's Safelight scope-sensing technology which gives users the ability to put the light source into standby mode when the scope is disconnected from the light cable. Overall, this safety feature is designed to help reduce the intra-operative risk of patient burns and drape fires when changing scopes. It can be directly connected PC or Laptop without the need of any driver. It comes with software to record and take snapshot and store it in the PC.
